To the outside of the property there is off road parking for one car and and enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture. The Dale Cottage is ideal for couples and families looking to explore this region of Northumberland with walks, cycling and Hadrian's Wall all nearby. The Neighborhood:

The town of Allendale was once the centre of a busy lead mining area, and many relics of the mining era remain around the area. Allendale is ideally placed for access to Carlisle to the west, Hexham to the east or the Roman Wall just to the north. There are lots of walks and unspoilt villages in the area, which is an ideal location for exploring the surrounding countryside or travelling further north to the glorious Heritage Coastline.
