Venture slightly further and you can explore the stunning landscapes of the North Pennines AONB or spend a day discovering Alnwick Castle and its famous gardens.
For those looking for a slower pace, simply step outside and enjoy the rich network of walks from the doorstep, or relax with a drink at one of the local pubs, the closest being under a mile away.
