"Beyond disappointed with our 3 night stay here. Service was poor from the first interaction and the quality of the hotel was dismal. It is clear that the people running it do not care, excuses at every turn and no accountability. The room did not match what was advertised or shown in the photos. The hotel smells like people smoke in the rooms and the smoke detector was removed in our room, so it seems quite likely. Our room was not properly cleaned or prepared for our arrival. Visible black mold in the bathroom and water damage on the floor. Nasty stains on the bedside tables. The front door to the hotel was broken and could not be closed and there were no efforts being made to address it. There were no efforts made to clean the property - there were even dead mini Christmas trees sitting right beside the exterior of the front door with ornaments still attached - in June. The key card for the room shows this is affiliated with the Hilton chain. What an absolute disgrace. We have stayed at many Hilton properties and nothing has ever been this bad. Hotels.com you need to step up your verification process. Send someone immediately because this location is an embarrassment to your brand. We have stayed in Stoughton every year for the past decade and this was our first and last time staying here. Do yourself a favour and check out the Smila Motel instead. It is way better bang for your buck and the owners actually care about their guests and the property."
