The kitchen had parts of a blender but none fit together. We bought one and left it there. Hot tub was great. The only problem is that it was very awkward to get into. Lid was so heavy it took 4 of us (ladies in their 70s) to get it on and off. The hot tub really should be in a larger area to be able to walk around it. Other than that everything was wonderful.

The amenities and house were spot on! Check-In was very easy and ready early so we were able to explore and get comfortable with the property. We had an issue with the gas fire place but we called and the host/cabin rentals sent a repair man immediately. He was very professional and friendly. We had 6 adults and 4 children from the ages of 5 months to 5 years and had plenty of room! The house is beautiful, close to town, and would highly recommend staying at Mountain House Retreat!

The room downstairs whete the sleeper sofa is needs blinds or curtains.The address for directions needs tob changed from the back entrance if you cant enter there. It was very confusing.

Mountainhaus Retreat was spotless, top to bottom! There were 10 of us. Our youngest family took the bottom floor with the game room, their own kitchen and bath which gave them their privacy. The rest of us had our own private rooms and baths which was perfect. That steamroom in the shower was awesome! We didn't do any cooking as we enjoyed eating out at all those wonderful German food venues each day. However, we thoroughly enjoyed having our coffee on the back deck each morning watching for wildlife. One evening we spent around a campfire and made s'mores and we all enjoyed the hot tub which was very clean and relaxing after a full day of Oktoberfest in Helen. Everyone involved with our stay was very helpful and informative, communication was perfect. Questions were answered timely which allowed us ample time to prepare for our travels. All in all it was a wonderful escape to Helen and our stay at the Moutainhaus Retreat couldn't have been any better unless we had been able to stay longer than our 4 days. Next time! Thanks again for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

The stay and overall Helen experience was awesome! Only down side was the serious lack of water pressure in the bathrooms throughout the cabin. The girls filled cups with water and dumped it on their heads so they would have enough water pressure to get the shampoo out of their hair. Besides that, the cabin was very nice.

Memorial Day last minute get aesy

We had an amazing time in town, on the golf course. In the hot tub and at the fire pit. The house is amazing and spacious and the resort is gorgeous. Golfing and the fire pit area are a must. Thank you so much for a great time and life long memories.

We were in Helen and the location was perfect. The size of the house was perfect. The house was missing an iron, an ironing board, and a tea kettle. The house was a little dated but it was all good. Beautiful location on the golf course.

This house did not disappoint. Great accomodations, views, created the foundation for an amazing trip with the people we care about most. The kitchen was wonderful...knifes could have been sharper and needed more plastic cups. Just a great experience!!

Fabulous Birthday Getaway

We were able to surprise my husband for a birthday celebration with 8 of our friends! The lodge offered amenities for everyone and definitely met our needs! In addition, it was wonderful, to be so close to town. We will definitely use this lodge for future getaways.

Amazing family home.

My family flew in from Florida and had an amazing Christmas at this house. The cozy environment had plenty of room for everyone and the views were breathtaking. The home was clean and already decorated for Christmas...tree and all. Wonderful!

75th Birthday Celebration

Overall we enjoyed the property. Enjoyed the deck and saw deer, a fox and a bear. However, shower access could be improved and you might include a warning about the amount of stairs outside and inside. Also there were no instructions for how to leave the property so we were guided by our previous rental experience.
