I have no idea where the pictures for this Hotel on Hotels.com came from, but it's NOT this Hotel.Apart from the nice reception foyer, it's a dump! From the tiny rickety lift, to the dirty, rundown and uncomfortable rooms..stay away! The floor in our room was so dirty the soles of our feet were imbedded the first hour after unpacking.The bathroom (the VIP room because it has a bath) is a filthy joke.The door has jammed on someone in the past and been jemmied open leaving it damaged and with no handle inside! The basin where it 'attaches' to the wall is covered in mould as are the corners of the whole room.The toilet sits at an angle so if you are tall you bang your knees on the wall and don't even mention toilet paper! We had to ask for it!! Even though our room was allegedly 'serviced' every day! The bath/shower combo is almost dangerous.Slippery and add to that water sprouts from every single join/tap all over the floor and toilet and turns the bathroom into a pond.The windows in the room don't seal so after it raining when we were out, we came back to puddles of water on the floor next to the bed.The bar fridge is in an enclosed cupboard and overheats sending a wave of heat into the room.We unplugged it.Cobwebs hanging from light fittings, dust on almost every surface and the air conditioners that hang directly outside the window sounds like a fright train all night and we looked into other rooms, they were the same. Great location though!
