This hotel is in a fantastic location for tourists, lots of nearby sites and shops for filler activities between main attractions. The staff are incredible and while the room itself was fairly plain, it was perfect for me as a solo traveller. Fast laundry service was a bonus.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff is just amazing and so personable. The rooms are generous in size with a very comfortable bed. We stayed one night at this hotel while touring Hanoi and then used this hotel as our base as we traveled to back and forth to Sapa and Halong Bay. Because would miss breakfast since took a night train, the hotel staff provided us with boxed meal for the train. Such a nice welcome back both times and rooms were ready with our stored luggage already in room. The manager and other staff greeted us by name the entire time which is quite impressive. Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of offerings and additionally could special order from menu. Everything was delicious. Personal service with coffee as well was a very nice touch as used to self serve. Highly recommend the Royal Palace Hotel. Conveniently located in old quarter for walking to shopping and dining.

The hotel was right in the heart of old town quarters so lots and lots of local food, coffee and shops right outside the hotel. The staff were very pleasant and polite every time you saw them. 2 star hotel at best

I’m genuinely shocked this hotel had a high rating on Hotels.com. For the price in Vietnam, it is GROSSLY high compared to what you’d get at other hotels for a better price. Overall the hotel was not in great shape. Our bathroom was covered in mold, the sink poured water onto the counter when it was turned on, the drain for the shower was literally outside of the shower causing the shower to flood the bathroom as well, and the room had holes in the ceiling, wall paper peeling off the wall, and water damage to the wooden floor. Had the rooms been priced accordingly, I wouldn’t feel compelled to leave a review, but the pictures online are very misleading in terms of what type of hotel you are getting.

This hotel was excellent. The manager Jimmi was a great help in recommending things to do and places to eat. Everyday we were greeted by name and treated with excellent customer service. The location was great and hotel was very comfortable and clean. Highly recommended staying here.

Arrived after through the night flight and welcomed by Mr Jimmi and given info on the hotel, area and shown to our room which was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast in the hotel was very nice and offered a good selection of food. Staff were very attentive and welcoming. Mr Jimmi then gave us excellent advice on trips and assisted us with the booking. We thoroughly enjoyed our trips and learning of the history and culture of the country. We even tried the cyclo tour of Hanoi which was great fun. We were made to feel so welcome at this hotel and have never experienced such fine customer service at a hotel in any country we have visited. The use of the shower facility prior to departure and storage of our luggage was very much appreciated on our final day. Thank you to all concerned. We will certainly come back for another visit.

Our stay at Royal Palace hotel could have not been any better! The location of the hotel is very convenient, within walking distance from all the main attractions in Hanoi, the room was amazing and very spacious, the breakfast absolutely delicious and relaxing but, above all, the staff exceeded expectations :) Jimmi and the team took very good care of us, even after we had left Hanoi. They were all very friendly, kind and polite. Thank you everyone! Could not recommend more!!!

We cannot recommend this place enough. The hotel itself is luxurious and well-designed, but the service was entirely unlike anything else we’ve experienced in a hotel. It was 11/10. The staff were exceptional, learnt our names to use in every interaction, and made staying here an absolute delight. We were both so impressed and honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. We will be telling everyone we know to come here.

Best hotel service in Hanoi

We had an excellent experience staying in this Hotel, the room is quiet and perfect, the bed is amazing, and the best shower, the location is perfect in the old quarter, excellent breakfast and all the staff were amazing with us, they helped with everything, efficient, quick, and friendly service.
