The overall space is definitely rustic. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast we had was tasty. Lots of parking for the most part, except at dinner time when the restaurant is open. The one issue we had was we stayed in the carriage house. Which you cannot lock the main door too which is fine if the front desk tells you that. Unfortunately they didn’t tell us and we were locked out for about 30m till we figured out a way into the space. There is no night staff at all so you are on your own if something happens at night. There is no number to call to get assistance.

Very nice property - my family needed the space and took up the 2-bedroom side unit. It was clean and quiet, no disturbance from the busy restaurant in the main building. In fact, it was very convenient when we anted some wine and could walk over to the bar inside. When we arrived, I went in to the main building and the restaurant hostess was right there, she directed us right to the door of the unit and I had the access code in my email - that could not have been any easier or faster. It is a very nice walk down the street down to the cost, you can walk an easy loop in about 25 minutes - and we even saw a giant porcupine. Breakfast was awesome, the setting was like an antique Maine fancy dining room and I enjoyed the Chef Special Omelette that was plenty more than enough.
