This hotel was convenient to spend time in Acadia. The furnishings were very minimal with no framed art at all, no lamp for the bedside, very much in need of painting to clean up the walls. I could hear a man staying in a room adjacent to mine as he snored all night long, so the walls are thin. Fortunately, I had earplugs or I wouldn't have been able to sleep myself. The staff in the office are very friendly and helpful. I was told I should have let them know about the guy and I could have moved.

We stayed here while visiting Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. It's a bit out of the way, but the price was excellent, and it was quiet and clean. I would stay again if I was in the area.

Getting to the National park was easy, however we did see many options along the route that might have been closer. It served its purpose and the staff was friendly. The room needed a bigger trash can, the bathroom window was ajar and we could not close it, and the lighting options in the room were limiting….too bright with the overhead, too dim with just one lamp

Nice and Quiet

I am one who just wants a clean bed, quiet people staying next to me and a clean bathroom. I don't believe that should cost $300 just for 1 night. So I spent time looking all around the area I was vacationing in and found this place. It was clean, Quiet and the bathroom was clean. It is minutes from Ellsworth and easy to find. I was surprised that check out is 10am unless previously asked for a later time. And fall is the time for lady bugs so there were several in my room. Friendly check in. Drop off box for keys. Would stay again but would ask for a room with no stairs to climb for my bad knees. Enjoyed my stay

For the price, it provided a clean place to sleep with adequate amenities that was located close to many popular destinations such as the national park and bar harbor. The facility does appear run and worn down but was adequate and clean. We did not spend much time at the facility except to sleep and shower. They do not have regular room service which helps them save in cost. Overall, we liked the low cost and having a clean place to stay.

The staff was eager to assist and friendly. It was a bit of a trek to get to Acadia, but it was doable. The place is also nearby a grocery store, which allowed me to save on meals, thanks to the microwave and refrigerator.

We really liked this place. The amenities were great (coffee in room, iron and blow dryer, fridge, microwave). Our only complaint was that the room was VERY DARK. There was no overhead lighting, and two lamps with small wattage bulbs. It felt gloomy and I needed a flashlight to find things in my suitcase. Add lighting, the place is terrific!

The room was good. There were some things that needed repaired and housekeeping not provided unless requested. We took towels to office to get replaced and office did not open till 9 and closed at 7. Requested the room to be vacuumed but did not happen. Second request I just requested a broom and swept floor myself. Fireplace installed on wall did not work. Refrigerator installed funny and wobbled. Addtional coffee for room had to be retrived from office. Not a fan of 10am check out and fee for late checkout unreasonable in my opinion
