The open-plan interior has been thoughtfully laid out with everything you need - a queen bed, two-seater sofa, a flat-screen TV and a heat pump to keep you comfortable year-round. Large sliding glass doors flood the space with natural light and open directly onto your private timber deck, where a set of ornate cast-iron chairs and a bench let you sit out and take in the farmland views.
The kitchenette is well-equipped for self-catering, with a two-burner ceramic cooktop, single sink, mini fridge, and a microwave on the open shelf above. Whether you're brewing a morning coffee or heating up a meal after a day's adventures, everything you need is close at hand.
The bathroom is fresh and modern with a full shower, toilet and a single vanity.
Outside, the cabin sits within a gravel parking area, native plantings and classic black timber post-and-rail farm fencing. Rolling green pasture stretches up the hillside behind, making it feel like you've found your own little corner of rural New Zealand.
Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive use of the entire cabin, including the private timber deck and outdoor seating area. Off-street parking is available on the gravel driveway directly in front of the cabin.

Hamurana is a quiet farming village on the northern shore of Lake Rotorua - one of the most scenic and serene corners of the Rotorua district. The area is best known for the Hamurana Springs Recreation Reserve, a stunning natural reserve featuring one of New Zealand's largest natural springs, a grove of towering California redwoods, and peaceful walking tracks [10 mins drive]. It's the kind of place where you hear birdsong before anything else.
Lake Rotorua's northern shoreline is just down the road, offering beautiful lake views and open skies. The surrounding landscape is classic farming country - rolling green hills, grazing stock, and fresh country air.
Getting Around:
A car is recommended to make the most of the area. Rotorua's city centre - with its restaurants, geothermal parks, Māori cultural experiences, and adventure activities is approximately [15 mins] south.
