Check-in was smooth and easy since I prepaid online. The room was nice and clean, mostly updated except for the old bathtub. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. My biggest complaint is the parking — there’s no reserved parking for hotel guests, so I had to leave my car two blocks away and roll my luggage back to the hotel. Breakfast was also frustrating. It sat empty for a good 20 minutes, and once it was finally restocked there was a long line, only for things to run out again. On the plus side, the location can’t be beat. Being able to walk right out to the waterfront made the stay worthwhile.

Said it was Lakeview and I paid extra but as I used Expedia I find I get put in the worst room in a category. I was put in room 218 - sure lake view when the tree in front of the window has no leaves. I don’t want the tree to be cut down just so they can make more per night but please truth in advertising. Then parking - it was ribfest and the hotel has sold its parking area so although they had a parking attendant who did his did as best as he could there were no spots so we parked at the end of a row where there was no spot making our vehicle open to being clipped all for 22 extra dollars. My daughter and I went out after we got our bags into the room and waited for someone to leave so we could stand in their spot waiting for a proper spot. Room was ok but not enough light. Couldn’t read. Breakfast was good.
Lake view allegedly. We paid extra. Don’t do it if you’re booking through Expedia.
