The staff were very, very friendly and helpful. Had an issue when we first admitted that the room smelled both musty and of marijuana. (The power in the area had been off, so air conditioning had not been on, and the room was near where there was a picnic table and people smoked.) That room was not ideal for a family. The staff quickly moved us when we complained. The hotel is clean, although very dated in terms of appearance. The kids enjoyed the pool. The restaurant was great. Breakfast was excellent, as were the wings. Became our first choice to eat at as we were in the area for a week. The hotel served our purpose for our trip. Enough fast food and even a bowling alley we went to in the immediate area.

Room was ok not great, doesn't look like it's had an upgrade other than the tv since the early 2000's. The gold trim full length mirrored closet door was a nice throwback to my childhood.
