I liked the view, the staff was also very friendly and attentive. It was only the fruit flies being in the room since check in, and the fact that there was a kid sneezing in the complimentary breakfast and using the tongs to play with, I wish the staff had said something o the parent. Otherwise, beautiful view.

Good Accommodation for People Travelling with Dogs

I am grateful that this hotel offers dog-friendly accommodation with direct access to the outdoors on the lake side. The accommodation was just fine - comfy beds and pillows, clean bathroom etc. my only criticism is that the room smelled so overwhelmingly of some type of cleaner (I’m guessing) that I had to leave the sliding glas door open for over an hour, while roaming around outside and hoping not to get burgled! When I went back in it was bearable, but I did leave the door to the outside open about 6” for the night so I didn’t get a migraine from the smell. I also turned off the AC unit, and wondered if something in it had been dispensing into the air. I realize that not everyone is becoming super sensitive to odours of chemical cleaning products, but I believe more and more people are starting to experience this. I don’t know what the alternatives are - of course clients want clean accommodation while travelling. However, there might be some less odourific choices available! Thank you!

The room was attractive and clean and the hot tub worked well. Not much of a view. The room was pretty quiet. The elevator is quite slow and sometimes the sixth floor button didn't work. With intentions of being helpful, a person called up to the room to see that everything was OK a couple of hours after we arrived, which was inconvenient for us at the time since we were taking a nap. I don't think the phone call was necessary. It was a crowded and crazy in the breakfast room with everybody trying to take advantage of the cold continental breakfast: they had cereal and the bagels were delicious and the fruit was good. Check in time was 3 PM at the earliest which is a bit inconvenient when you're checking out of one place and waiting for another to let you in. Check out time is 11 AM at the latest.

We were there for 3 nights and not once was our room cleaned, resupplied with toiletries or towels even though we had the door hanger out indicating we wanted service. Asked for an extra pillow and they didn't have any; odd. Clean property, run down a bit, no elevator, nice view and relatively quiet. Extra fees added that don't show in the Expedia price.

There should be bold large letters advising people that this property is not accessible for anyone with walking problems. I checked my mother and aunt into this hotel and they called me to tell me there was no elevator and no one to help them take their luggage to their suite. There was no closet, just one hook in the room. My aunt was here attending my wedding and didn’t have a place to hang her dress. This property has a lot of potential but needs some serious TLC and a lesson in basic hospitality. 65-70 year olds should not have to go up and down the stairs to get their luggage to their room.

Nice stay, very comfortable bed. The view is amazing and a very quiet place to relax. The staff is very nice, pleasant and welcoming. The areas of opportunity for the property: pictures are not really accurate, guests who are staying more than two days should get cleaning. Our trash was never taken, we never got new towels, and the room was not cleaned or swept.

Aug 27/28 morning desk clerk was bar none. Her friendly personality shone through and she went out of her way to make people feel comfortable, telling them of different places to see and things to do in the area. Being there on my own she made me feel very comfortable at breakfast. 5 stars for her! My only complaint was the flies in the room, very pesky! All else was good.

The screen door fell off. It is time to replace the sliding doors on the walkout rooms. The shower control was near impossible to turn. My wife couldn’t turn it so I had to help but even I had trouble. When we checked in there was a used pod in the coffee machine and no coffee in the room. The staff was helpful in correcting this but a little more attention to detail is needed.
