We stayed in one of the 4 bedroom dorms. It had 2 full bathrooms. Very clean, excellent parking, and wonderful staff. Highly recommend if youre looking to save some money on your travels. Would definitely go back.

You get what you paid for. The room and bathroom was clean. However parking was limited (had to park in a different lot that was difficult to find), the room got hot and the window didnt provide much ventilation, and the bed was a bit uncomfortable.

This was an affordable way to stay in Hailfax for cheap. It is a college dorm room, which I loved. Although the bathrooms are shared, they are private single bathrooms when in use. Make sure you bring your Clorox wipes. Know that the hill to the dorm is not for people who are out of shape.

The room was clean, beds were surprisingly comfy. The hotel doesn't have air conditioning but they had a fan in each room and the windows opened. We stayed in May so it wasn't hot in the room at all. Overall a great stay for the price

As a solo traveller who was in Halifax for only one night, this was a perfect no-frills place to stay. There was an event downtown and the hotels were over $500 so this was a no-brainer. There were lots of families around and there is campus security monitoring overnight. It’s up and away from the road so not many people driving past unless they are going to the school or the other residences. About a 15 minute Uber ride to downtown.

We stayed in a 4‑bedroom, 2‑bathroom dorm unit at Mount Saint Vincent. It was spacious, clean, and a decent price for what you got. Each bedroom was basic but comfortable, and having two bathrooms made mornings much easier. The location is a bit outside downtown Halifax (about 15‑20 minutes by car), so plan for that if you don't have a vehicle. Parking was fine. Overall, a solid budget option for a group or family. Not fancy, but good value.

Nice location, very amiable staff. No headboard on the bed, a personal peeve. The mattress comforts fair to tolerable. Expect not much adornment, but really don’t appreciate ceiling lighting only. Extremely institutional feel. Reading lamps even as a rental option, much better. Limited power points. Maybe I am not a dorm or hostel compliant traveller anymore….but it’s a modern world.

When we first arrived (one hour before check-in at 4:00), the staff were unorganized, unhelpful and did not appear at all concerned about the guests. The staff consisted of students with very poor customer service skills. At 4:00, a more welcoming student arrived and got us checked in. Excellent apartment with four separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living area with kitchenette. No AC, but fans were provided. Very clean and comfortable, quiet in the evening. About 10 minutes from downtown Halifax.
