Thier policies are harsh and not customer friendly We were late for our checkin even though we checked in on line. Because our flight bumped us It was a busy weekend so they were able to sell our toom for double the price

Waterfront wonder !

This was our first trip to Halifax! The Marriott was a perfect place to take in the beauty and culture of the waterfront! The hotel room - after we upgraded for a room with a view- was perfect.

Great location right in heart of Downtown Halifax. Restaurant food was fantastic. We had chowder and roll. The hotel would have gotten 5 stars from me but the hotel staff unfortunately were not 5 star. Hotel reception was not friendly and not informative on hotel policies. Unfortunately it was not told to me that the pool was only opened to guests over 18 after 9 pm although pool hours were till 10.

The hotel is directly on the harbor boardwalk and has lots of chairs at waters edge to enjoy the scenery. Very convenient to restaurants and activities. Has a good pool, a sandwich/breakfast shop, room service, and a huge patio with fire pits. There were bands outside most nights, but not very late.
