One of the most affordable places to stay on the peninsula. I was honestly so impressed by how clean it was - one of the highlights. The only flaw was my bed mattress was older and not the most comfortable to sleep on, but for a short term stay, you can’t get much better than this spot.

Understand that you are booking a no frills college dorm room with two private bathrooms/showers shared by eight rooms. Also the room was too warm with no controls for what I think was some kind of central A/C. Fortunately there was no one else staying in the suite. The room is two blocks from the waterfront. Basically was adequate if you need a place to sleep and no more

Great location along Granville & Sackville Streets, just a few short blocks from the waterfront and terrific value for money. Room was clean and though a little small, had all the essentials including a desk with a phone charger and wifi, lots of hooks on the door, as well a cabinet to put away and hang up personal items like clothing. There were several individual bathrooms on each floor and all came with a shower. Each floor has a shared common area with a kitchen and fridge, microwave, etc. Be prepared for some flights of stairs to climb depending on the floor you get placed as this is an older building. For the price, location and amenities, this was an excellent find amongst some much pricier options in downtown Halifax.
