We stayed at this property and loved it, this year not so much, our room was tired and in the back wing of the hotel. During our last stay the staff made us feel very welcome and were very helpful, this year they were very unfriendly and miserable it really made us feel very unwelcome, apart from a super friendly waiter in the restaurant one evening who was very helpful and charming. Overall the hotel has lost its sparkle and we will not be returning or would we recommend it to others. Very disappointing

The friendliness and staff were excellent, especially the dining room staff at the Lakeside Bar & Grill; very tasty meals at a reasonable price. The rooms were fine but the layout is due for a renovation. Small bathroom with not much counter space, but clean and convenient for buses to the area and waterfront.

Overall, the whole hotel was decent when it comes to cleanliness, the view from our room of the lake was absolutely spectacular. However, my concerns were the quality of food wasn’t great and I had to ask for clean towels for my room and someone had left them on the floor in front of my door, keep in mind there was not a do not disturb sign on the door.

The Lakeside Bar & Grill serves very tasty food at reasonable prices, along with a cosy and very friendly atmosphere. There is a bus-top located in the very front of the Hotel - take bus 22 down to the Terminal and transfer to the 29. Excellent so you don't have to take your car. Needs a new room design and bathroom enlargement. Would go back again!
