Beautiful accommodation, with a private bath in our room, made for a very relaxing stay in Hakone. The private onsens were very good and the lounge wear provided for guests was a nice touch.
Wonderful stay! Clean and spacious room. Amazing onsen facilities. Staff was nice. Amenities and treats were a huge bonus. Highly recommend this place!
This hotel was top notch! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the kaiseke dinner and breakfast were amazing. The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We loved the private onsen on our balcony. It was very relaxing as we could see and hear the nearby stream. We'd definitely stay here again the next time we're in the area.
Very large and comfortable rooms. The private bath in our room was lovely and the washrooms were very nice. Staff was great and patient (I speak very poor Japanese). Would definitely come back here!
This was easily the highlight of the hotels I stayed at on my Japan trip. Very friendly staff. Great food. Great amenities. My only regret is I could only stay for 1 night before moving onto my next location.
Very comfortable spacious room. Love the private deep soaker tub on the balcony with a view on trees and plants, very relaxing. The free self-serve bar with varied choices of alcoolic and non-alcoolic drinks was also a unique feature that was an nice bonus.
Spa was relaxing and convenient as it locates in each of the rooms. The meal plans and hotel restaurant service was great, since many local stores and restaurants were closed around 7pm. The weather also little wet in the april time frame so not going out looking for a place to eat was
Large rooms by Japanese standards - was a triple room but had room for a family of 4. Free coffee in check in area. Free beverages on 3rd floor. Lovely outdoor tub on deck and public/private onsens in 3rd floor. Staff very accommodating and helpful.
Rooms are very nice.
Dinner was fine, but extra money paid for extra dishes, was a little waste of money, especially the beef dish, which was VERY overpriced!!!
Onsen is not big, but quite good.
Overall, it was very nice.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The best feature of the room was the outdoor soaking tub by the river. The restaurant was incredible with amazing dinner and breakfast. The room was a bit dated for the price.
We loved our stay here, the bath on the balcony was so relaxing and peaceful and there are both public and private onsens that can be used when available. My husband and I used the private onsens and enjoyed the free ice cream and drinks also available at all times. The kaiseki breakfast and dinners were a great experience and a good opportunity to try traditional Japanese cuisine. The staff are very kind, welcoming and friendly and it’s about a 10 minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto station.
The room was great and I used the private outdoor bath many times a day. The food was beyond amazing for breakfast and dinner. They gave us so much food and it just kept coming and coming. The staff was very friendly and great. Check in and check out was fast. We were happy with the proximity to the train station we had no problem walking with our suitcases. I would stay there again if we ever comeback to Hakone.
The room had a bit of a smell .. a little dusty? I’m used to immaculate Japanese rooms… so it was just ok ! They never got back to me about getting a massage .. it was still a good experience though.
