Wonderful ryokan just by the station in Gora. You can get traditional Japanese dinner service and breakfast. You can also get your own onsen tub on the balcony, which I had, and which was great. The room I had was semi traditional Japanese style. The futon bed wasn't directly on the floor but on a platform. This is a must try. I can really recommend this place.

We had a great experience staying here. With breakfast and dinner are provided with kaiseki style, it was prepared properly and organized. Staff are kind and friendly. The room has tatami mats and very clean with outdoor bathtubs. Although the facility is kinda run down, we still enjoy our stay. The train station is just next to the hotel and bus stop is right outside the hotel. We will stay here again next time.

Felt like had traditional design elements and a beautiful hotel. Enjoyed the private hot springs (no reservation required). Good selection at gift shop. Very easy to use train and cable car at Gora Station, Gora Park and bus stop. Japanese set breakfast was elaborate and good experience. Large room was well equipped. Nice to have free tea, coffee, snacks kimono and towels. Building and wooden hot Spring pools showing their age.
