Overall 2 star for this place. We had gotten to Gulf Shores a day earlier than planned and therefore we were short on options for overnight lodging until our condo was ready. This was the only place available at the time. The lady who checked us in was nice enough, but she was on her phone the entire time. When we got to our room it literally smelled like it was fresh out of a flood. The bedding had stains on it. The towels were stained. The water coming out of the tub looked like it came straight from the lagoon. Before we even got to our room we had noticed another guy dtanding outside his room just on the phone but was waving a gun around. We were so tired we just hurried and got into our room and hoped for the best. I would never stay here again if I can help it.

Great Stay

We travel extensively and have stayed at many hotels. We grabbed this room last minute on a holiday weekend. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, but this place was great. It’s super clean, roomy, not transient and a little tucked away. The owners take a lot of pride in their property and the price can’t be beat. The pool was clean, the room was one of the largest I’ve stayed in and housekeeping came every day to freshen room and change towels.

We stayed in room 115 there was roaches and ants. The tv would not shut off. The shower had no safety rubber it was very slick. If it was not 11pm and we drove 11 hours we would have left. We will never stay there again!

The staff were very rude. The rooms that are showed on the website are definitely not what you walk into. Seen black mold around the fire alarm in room, pubic hairs still in the bathtub and the top comforter on the bed looked like it hadn’t been washed or was stained. It worked for the one night we needed but will definitely not be booking here again.

First room was flooded with water and the lady at the desk knew about it already and did nothing and kept trying to check people into that room. 2nd room we got smelt heavily like mold and it had an air humidifier in it that was apparently broke and started throwing out pieces of plastic. Also there were tweakers fighting in the parking lot for most of the night.
