Totally perfect

House provided the perfect place for our family to be together for our much needed relaxing vacation. Plenty of private spaces for everyone as well as gathering space with room for the whole family that included me, my grown children and significant others, 6 grand children age 7 up to 17. The beach was beautiful and the pool was so enjoyed by all. The views from the porches were incredible.

Great place for family!

A Walk In The Sand is a great property. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the ac units keep it nice and cool. Our family choose it bc of the elevator as we had our 90 year old parents along w grandkids 5-11 who enjoyed the pool. We look forward to our next trip to Ft Morgan!!

Large family vacation

We loved our stay at Walk on Sand. The rooms were spacious and fit a large family very well. The staircase is separated from the living areas with doors, which made it harder with small children on different floors than some adults. The pool was wonderful and the walk to the beach was so quick and easy! The elevator made it so much easier with our father with difficulty walking up stairs. And with moving in and out with large suitcases.

great house for a large group/multiple families

we had a nice time. house was in good shape and is very close to the beach. we chose this house based on it having a heated pool. we emailed and communicated months in advance to make sure pool was heated and working for us. unfortunately, the heated pool never work and was unable to be used for our stay. if we would have known this, we would have rented another house.

Spring Break 2021

We had 4 families with 8 adults and 9 kids and the house fit all of us with no problem. Every family had their own bathroom with a couple to spare which we find to be very important. The house had a great big area downstairs under the house where everyone could hangout and play games in the evening. Although not right on the beach it's a very short walk. The beach isn't as big as I've seen so you get to the water in about the same time as a lot of houses right off the beach.

This home was perfect especially for a large group! There was plenty of space and breathtaking views. Clean, this home was the cleanest rental I've ever been in. The out door space was amazing and with multiple outdoor showers to rinse off with. Alot of thought went into this home and It was perfect. Having an elevator was a plus for my elderly grandmothers. The beds were amazing too and we all slept so comfortably. Just wished I'd looked at the brand of mattress so I can buy one for myself! It felt like home but in paradise. I will definitely come back. Thank you for opening your home for others to enjoy.

Thanksgiving family gathering

3+ generations of our family gather every Thanksgiving and this was the perfect destination! The property is within walking distance to the beach, beautiful and spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Given 4 stars because we were without hot water for about 24 hours (due to gas water heater not filled). The property management customer service representative was extemely rude and even accused me in email of hanging up on her on purpose (poor cell phone reception in that area). However, once our request was escalated to her manager it was quickly resolved.

Fun Family Time

Our overall impression of the property was good, the location to the beach was fantastic and we really enjoyed the pool. However, upon our arrival the code we had been provided did not work which is not fun after a long drive. We were also disappointed that the larger grill, shown in the pictures was not there. If we had known about this, we would have not bought 6 slabs of ribs to grill. Also, two of the eyes on the stove in the main kitchen were badly cracked and unable to be used. I reported this but never received any response from the property management. We had some problems with the elevator but the maintenance man was very nice and able to take care of the problem. Need better instructions regarding the elevator as it is very sensitive. On a positive note, the views from the house was unbelievable. You could see the ocean from just about any window. The pool was very nice too, nice and cold.

Spring Break 2021

We had a great time and the house was beautiful! We had 15 people, 3 families, that came down from a cold and dreary Michigan to enjoy some warm weather and recharge! The closeness to the beach was awesome, the amenities in the house were perfect. It is a little bit of a drive to local shopping, however, definitely recommend eating at Sassy Bass which is only a couple of miles from the house! We would definitely stay again!

Relaxing family getaway

We really enjoyed this property during our stay! There was tons of extra space and lots of things to do. We were very impressed with the kitchen too. The elevator broke once but the repair man was out within a day to fix it. Everything was perfect and we cant wait to come back in the future!

Beach, Private Pool and Lots of Room

If you’re looking for the place that has it all, this is it. 1/2 block to white sand beach, private heated and chilled pool. We only had issues with the elevator and ice maker on 2nd floor bit management company is rock solid and got it all fixed next day. Ice maker was never connected to water source. Elevator had a wiring issue. Kitchen is huge and plenty of room between it and the small fridge on 2nd floor for 4 families of food. Beds are all large and so are the rooms. For those that need high pressure showers, stay on the 2nd level not third. The shower heads are around 10’ and trickle down but it’s very relaxing. Beach is beautiful and so are the views from the 3rd level. Pool was perfect temperature all week with a good amount of sun. Lots of parking for up to 5 cars if needed. Home includes some water toys for kids as well as a bags game. We have stayed at many location and this is one we will absolutely be coming back to.
