The location of this condo couldn't have been closer nor easier to access the beach which was nice, unfortunately Gulf Shores was super cold during our stay so we did not get much, if any, beach time. The condo is also conveniently located to walk to shops and restaurants. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. What can't be seen from photos is the age of the complex. It is a very old complex. We heard every noise in the condo above us. I also underestimated the size of the kitchen. It is extremely small and two people cannot fit comfortably in it. There was no place to store non refrigerated food, so all our food sat on the counter which was limited in itself. The floorboard in the kitchen near the fridge has a hole and gives significantly. This was reported in reviews from several years ago however it appeared as though the condo had been updated since then. Lastly, we were notified by the rental company the day before our last full day on the trip that the association was shutting off the water the next day from 8am until 3pm. I am sure this was due to all the construction going on however we were never issued a credit despite repeated requests. Had the weather been warmer and we were able to spend most of our time at the beach, we would have tolerated most things with exception of the water shut off, because location is so great but the price we paid was not worth it even if weather had been perfect.
