My family stayed here for one night in Gulf shores and it was amazing. The staff was so friendly, it was affordable, basic accomodations, easy walk up the beach, lots of walkable access to shopping and dining.

Good Experience, but Room for Improvement

My stay was quite good. I lost my key and my debit card during the trip, and the staff was very attentive, understanding, and helped me with everything I needed. Customer service was excellent, and they truly cared about supporting me in that situation. The hotel has a great location, close to the beach, which makes it very convenient. However, there were a couple of things that could be improved: I tried to play some music on the TV but couldn’t, since either the internet or the TV wasn’t working properly. Also, when I moved some heavy furniture in the room while looking for my card, I found a few cockroaches, which was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, the overall experience was positive, and I would definitely come back in the future.

For the price and location, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The beds were very comfortable and the area was fresh! The pool is 5ft with no time limit as far as I could tell. The beach was across the street but it was worth a three-minute drive to get paid parking. I would say this was the best location! In walking distance of everything!! The only cons I could say were that there was no shower curtain, and the TV (although it provided Netflix and Tubi), the menu did not quite fit the screen, and it was a bit laggy. I enjoyed my stay so much that I and went ahead and booked for next year !

Nice hotel just off the beach on the main road. Loved the swimming pool on the third floor overlooking the road, made for a lovely evening sitting area to watch people in traffic go by. Across the street from there was a Bahama Bob’s which offers a lovely happy hour and good food

I like that Beachside resort is across the street from Bahama Bob’s and the beach, plus near Sunliner Diner and various shops. I enjoy the retro aesthetic of the hotel and the rooftop pool but there were many minor maintenance failures and no towel’s available in the poolside towel rack.

The room was moldy and constantly damp from moisture. There were stains all over the ceilings and walls. The elevator had cords out in the open and the hotel was just very unclean in general.

The hotel was a great deal for the price! The beds and pillows were too soft and my feet were higher than my head. Bed seemed to sag in the middle. Aside from that the staff were all very friendly and helpful! Parking was easy. The beach is right across the street! The pool was very nice and clean and cool. We will stay here again.
