Good: Great location and we were able to walk to the surrounding malls easily. Bad: We had requested for connecting rooms during our booking as we were travelling in a family of 4 but this was not fulfilled. Instead, during check in, the front desk tried to sell us to upgrade our room to a suite (which would only sleep 3 maximum) which is still not connected to another room.. I found that the rooms were not well maintained. It was an older hotel and I did notice that the paintings/pictures had some dust and mold.

I loved this Marriott! It was even better than I expected, from the service to my room to its convenient location. The front desk was very professional and gave me probably the best room at that hotel, at the very top floor…and the view outside was spectacular. The dining options were abundant, ranging from the lobby buffet with its blend of Chinese and Western dishes to the lounge with its motley of desserts. There is a connecting mall as well as a fancier one across the street; below street level is yet another gem filled to the brim with eateries. Subway stations are very close by too…needless to say I highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely brilliant stay at the Marriott in Guangzhou! From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless—spotless rooms, impeccable service, and attention to detail that genuinely impressed. And to top it off, they surprised us with a birthday cake completely free—what an incredible touch! Honestly, this is hospitality done right. From the time I book the hotel,message the hotel twice for charges of airport transfer,there was no reply. Booked the room for 3 adults with breakfast but was told only 1 adult is paid the rest have to pay. Demanding for receipts on my side to prove that 3 adults were paid for the breakfast asking for the rest of the hotels cards to prove there’s 3 people. And upon checking their system, the checking in staff has made a mistake stating only 1 adult check in the room.Service staff communication and understanding level is not good enough for an establishment like yours.
