Location is great as it has shopping and restaurants in the area. Access to Ubers and Taxis. The staff are vert friendly and accessible. Please note the hotel does NOT have air conditioning. The bed mattresses were extremely hard, floor like hard. Also note there is a cathedral across the street and the bells sound frequently. The hotel did provide ear plugs.

Great Hotel for a family

The rooms were clean. The hotel offered a continental breakfast. The hotel was in the center of Guanajuato in front of a church, you could hear the church bells even with the windows closed, but we didn’t stay much in the room so it didn’t bother us. Very close to a lot of stores and restaurants. I enjoyed the big window with the small balcony.

Place is right across the basilica de Guanajuato and short walk to many restaurants, bars and stores, the front desk lady was very helpful with luggage and recommendations. The place itself was very clean, quiet and comfortable, had a simple but pleasant continental breakfast. Highly recommended.

Amazing location. Nice property. Spacious rooms. Restaurant. The only negatives are listed here: The wifi. It was horrible and did not work from the room most of the time. I could not work from here if I had to. Also the noise. It is an old building and the noise from other guests talking or going up the stairs was a lot. The free breakfast included only fruit, cereal, juice, and coffee. They did have other options (for a proper breakfast) available for a cost. That said, the staff was very nice amd helpful and the property has an amazing location.

Es un hotel muy bien ubicado. Seguro, tranquilo y silencioso. Por fortuna, me dieron en una habitación en el primer piso, porque el hotel no tiene ascensor y subir las maletas hubiera sido difícil. Pero está en el corazón de Guanajuato, que es una gran ciudad. ¡Me encantó!

I love this place so much ! It’s in a perfect location, walkable distance to all the places we wanted to see. It’s super clean and spacious. Staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy ! I will for sure stay there again.

Location is perfect!! we didn't have to use transportation. The hotel is clean, very nice hotel, hot and cold breakfast was very good. A little noise from outside, but you can get free earplugs. Our 3 bed room was perfect for our family of 5 with a nice balcony. We will definitely stay there again. Very happy with Casa Virreyes. Staff very friendly.
