This is a beautiful colonial hotel with courtyards and fountains. The staff is very nice. There are not many restaurants in the area around the hotel, but it is only a 10-15 minute walk to the shopping and dining area on Avenida Juarez. Also, it is within walking distance to the Centro Historico.

Great historic hotel

Amazing historic building with all modern amenities including wifi and elevator. My room hade HUGE high ceilingz. In cenro historico stay in an historic hotel.

The parking structure they said was assigned to us does not open on Sundays. It almost made my family and I lose our flights, my parents had to spend an extra day in town until they can get their vehicle back. To top it off the beds were not comfy at all the pillows were hard and the blanket they provide smelled a little funky.

Great location. Huge rooms. AC. Fantastic longtime staff. They'll send out your laundry. Lots of hot water. If you get a streetside room, sometimes it can be a little noisy. Great taco stand, ice cream and coffee with 50 meters of the front door. There are a few bars around, which some ppl may not like, but no problems at all. I stay here frequently

This is the most amazing property we have stayed at, the staff was very nice and kind, my wife had a painful knee and they accommodated to us by upgrading us to a room in the first floor. Very clean, it reminded me of my grandmas old house.

First time at this hotel. The beds were very comfortable, the AC was nice and cold, the birds that were outside our doors were the alarm clock .. lol beautiful facility close to transportation. The shower was on the warm side but it was comfortable too

Staff was friendly and helpful. This is a beautiful hotel I really like it. It is walking distance to a few must see attractions. Good restaurants in the area and street food is available. There’s a seven eleven which is across the street, so convenient. I will definitely come again. My room is nice and clean as well ;)

My experience is sort of a "Good News / Bad News" situation. My first stay was fantastic! My room was large and comfortable. It featured little french doors to a tiny balcony that overlooked an interior courtyard where songbirds in a large cage greeted me every morning. I loved it and looked forward to my next visit. My most recent visit I was assigned a small room not much larger than a prison cell. No balcony; no french doors. No songbirds. The windows wouldn't even open to get some fresh air circulating. Still, the staff is friendly and helpful. The housekeeping is first-rate. I like the location for shopping and sight-seeing. I may stay again in the future, but the tiny, sterile room of my most recent visit has left me with a bad memory.
