Would be helpful if staff was more fluent in English. Happy non-smoking facility, but perfumey spray was predominant throughout. Location to Mystic Seaport was great. Parking was great. Seemed to be a safe area, just off the road. Spacious room! In-room Breakfast bar/chairs & extra sink was a plus! Made the 2-day stay convenient. Tub/toilet room was lacking towel bar and extra space. Gas/Convenience store across the street was helpful since no breakfast/snacks supplied. We would stay again.

The room smelled overwhelmingly of mildew and rotten fish. There were pubic hairs on the bathroom floor, leading to the clear conclusion that this room was not even swept between guests. The refrigerator was leaking onto the carpeted floor in front of it, which explained the mildew smell, and created a fun wet spot for all to step in. I understand that this hotel room was inexpensive, and was in no way expecting the Ritz, but holes in the wall and lack of basic cleanliness was a lacking bare minimum. Gross.

Quiet, bed comfortable. However no amenities. Even vending machine was sold out of water. Direct TV signal very poor, kept freezing. Mostly clean except for mildew on bathroom shower curtain. Old , not well maintained, peeling paint, frayed rugs.

Poor man's Hotel. Not for tourists.

It smelled of cigarette smoke like the rug hasn't been changed in 50 years. For a so-called suite, NO coffee pot, no hair blower it was as basic towards a flophouse as one can find. Reminds me of the old days when it was probably made for young Navy Families transferring to Groton Sub Base. Only good thing was it was quiet. If you are transferring hee it is about 1 mile from Capehart Housing where I lived in 1962.

Decent place with plenty of space, but no coffee available, workers weren't very friendly, and the place needs a good deal of work. It's worth the money and clean enough, but needs a paint job and some renewal. Definitely could offer up some coffee, too.

Not a favorite

Room was clean of clutter but had unpleasant smell. We asked for nonsmoking & all you could smell was cigarette & mj smoke. The room had 2 fridges? 1 didn’t work I did. Lights worked randomly. Paint on the door & walls looked like it was covering up stains not a normal paint job. Door handles & light switched were dirty appearing. Ceiling had a hole from a water leak, bathroom sink was broken/cracked & glued back together. When we turned the bed sheets down there was a long black hair on the pillow. Staff when they appeared at front counter were pleasant but not any effort at all to interact or ask if anyone had any needs or concerns. A/C worked great! Nice & cool but woke up very stuffy & congested. ? Mold.
