Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort

Pros: - The property itself is unique. The rooms have wonderful views and the setting puts you in a happy place. - Shuttle service and drivers is very efficient and quite good. - Resort is situated in total seclusion and is a nice pace from the hustle and bustle of the city vibe Cons: - Freezers in mini-fridges do not freeze (1st or 2nd floor). Subsequently, I could not freeze my gel packs. Instead, I had to store at the front desk in order to have them frozen to protect my insulin during for long trip back home. - Room Service: items for the room were left outside the room twice. Maid returned at 4:30 p.m. when I called about the large bag of towels outside my room. The 2nd time, I observed the bag of coffee and supplies outside; however, no one returned when I called. I had to call two separate times to ask for regular sugar for my in-room coffee maker. - Front Desk - Our room was 90 minutes late even through check-in is at 3:00 p.m. The hotel will charge you if you leave after your departure time. - Lunch & Dinner - Not that good (i.e. meat was overcooked Papa Don's) and the prices are too high to not have a quality dining experience. Instead, my family and I went to nearby local restaurants recommended by locals. Food was authentic for an amazing price. - Breakfast - All-inclusive breakfast includes coffee and orange juice, but does not include bottled water or soda. My daughter was charged for a bottle a water separately from the breakfast tab.

My arrival at Windjammer, Miss Anna at the reception desk check me in . She had a remarkable smile and everything possible for one of the best stayed I had at this resort. My accommodation was excellent.

Lots of room for the family. Pool right outside our door. Great beach area. All inclusive option with menu ordering rather than buffers.
