"Very convenient to Plictvice Park. We had an early entrance to the park and the hotel offered us an early breakfast. The rooms are rustic, but the bathrooms are very modern. A quaint place to stay. "

"My wife and I were really impressed with House Rustico. The room and building was spotlessly clean and the room was very pleasant and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the room and there was some nice thoughtful touches like fresh fruit and complimentary sweets. Nice bathroom and shower and very comfortable bed. We met the owner at the Vila Velebita, which is his restaurant just around the corner from the accommodation. For reference the restaurant is on the main road, as you come from the north (having past Plitvice Lakes), it is on the right hand side just before the sharp turning you take to get to House Rustico. You stop at the restaurant to check in and you are given a complimentary drink, which includes anything from the drinks menu including alcoholic drinks. After enjoying our drink, we were given the keys and head around the corner (2 minute drive) to the room. At the room we are met by the owners mum who is very friendly. She showed us the room and put the heating on for us (slightly unseasonal weather for the time of year - mid May). As we were only there for one night we didn’t get a lot of time at the property but they had free bicycles for guest use and a nice outdoor area for sitting. Finally we went back to Vila Velebita for dinner and both the food and the staff were superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal I would highly recommend eating here during your stay. Just to note, the drive to Plitvice lakes is approx. 20 mins. "
