The room was tidy, dated and needed to be cleaned better. The service was amazing. It’s currently under renovation so maybe in the future will be lovely. The food when ordering from the restaurant was fantastic but the free breakfast was the worst. The kids enjoyed the waterside but it was very hard to breathe in the pool room, some kind of chemical in the air that wasn’t the normal chlorine smell.

The staff were all so lovely, they kindly upgraded our room for us. Very quiet, wonderful views and comfy beds with clean rooms. The only thing is they were weird about giving us wine glasses for our room

Good value overall for the money but we didn’t realize it was a motel style place where you drove right in front of your room. Sure enough, 5:00am a big diesel started rattling away in the parking lot just a few feet from our room door. Very frustrating as vehicle ran for at least 1/2 hour before roaring away. Won’t stay there again.

Lovely, clean, affordable and updated motel for a comfortable night. Staff were exceptionally friendly, especially the waitress who fed a couple of hungry (hangry) late comers. What I wasn't prepared for was the view they rolled out the next morning. Viewed from the well maintained courtyard in the crispy morning air while sipping my tea I was awed. As the mist rolled between the mountain ranges and flowed the majestic mountains ranges suddenly appeared. Quiet moments like these are remembered a lifetime.

Great value, free parking, amazing pool for the family, clean rooms and easy access to the Trans-Canada (Highway 1). The Golden Skybridge is just 7-8 minutes driving from the hotel. Strongly recommended if you are around Golden city!
