We had City views which were fine for the time spent in the apartment. The bed was uncomfortable, as were the pillows. The sound coming from the cupboard in the second bedroom was loud when the aircon was on. The sound echoing in our bathroom when the apartment upstairs flushed their toilet wasn’t something I wanted to experience. We did it receive the bottle of wine or the discount voucher for spa treatment as was mentioned in our booking. For the price per night, not worth it.

Absolutely loved our stay at Q1! Will Definately be back. Had a 2 bedroom apartment with fabulous views. The pool was great for the kids (and adults) and it is in such a great location. Only issue was having no luggage trolleys available.

Room had a dog smell when we arrived. Lots of dogs throughout the hotel as well. Booked an ocean view room to arrive and not be able to see the ocean at all due to being on the lowest floor. Staff were fantastic though. Checking out we had to wait 25 minutes before we could fit in a lift to leave. Also found it bizarre that the hotel dont offer a complimentary visit to the observation deck. Wasn’t expecting to pay $49 per person when we had spent so much to stay there already.

Overall our stay was good, the only downfall was the lack of view of the beach. Our bedroom room was modern and clean, with lovely city views out to the hinterland. Parking was easy. It will be much more pleasant when the renovations are complete and you don’t have to catch 2 seperate lifts.
