We didnt have an ideal experience when checking -in to our room initially. We arrived at 9pm- after office hours so my email instructions were to find our room key left in key box, but the key that was left for us was a different key to our actual allocated room no.given in our arrival letter with room key instructions. We ended up unlocking the door of another room which was already occupied( which was the room no. on our key that was left for us ) and then didnt have the right key for our allocated room-so we didnt have any apartment and after ringing the services no. to explain the situation, we then waited 15mins before a reply came with what we were to do.Eventually we rounded up someone ourselves on the premises and explained the situation who then got us the correct key. Once in our room ,we discovered there was no linen provided for our sofa bed- it was eventually brought to us. So overall we were not that impressed with our introduction to Montego Sands Resort

Step back in time

Surprised at the age of the bed, think 70’s . Overall the place was quiet ish, comfortable, neat, although a few things missing, it had an iron but no ironing board, pegs but no clothes airer, but great location

Our "Deluxe" apartment 3 was on the ground floor fronting the road and main pathways in to the complex. This meant that all windows allowed for full view in to the apartment. The bathroom window over the toilet faced the road and had clear glass which meant that the blind had to be down 24/7. The wire shelving in the wardrobe was unusable due to grease and dust. The outside spa pool was full of dead flies and sand. The furniture in the apartment was in good condition. However the rest of the apartment was lack luster for a Deluxe room.

Perfect family holiday location. The property was very clean and reception were very helpful. The pool and spa was perfect for my toddler. So close to Pac Fair & the beach too!

The property was in a great location but the fold out couch so uncomfortable it couldn’t be slept on. Another unit had someone hammering for quite a length of time. There was no plug for the bathroom or kitchen sinks.

The unit was very clean and tidy. The beds were so comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay. Lillian made it so easy for us and was so helpful and friendly in all of our communication. The pool looked lovely but we just did not get a chance to use it. Had an allocated parking space in secure parking. Thank you for a great stay.

Montego Sands is in a quiet side street and only a hundred metres or so from the beach. There is underground parking in a designated bay and both the wi-fi and cable TV were good. The swimming pool was small and looked unappealing. The rooms are spacious and although a bit tired looking they are comfortable enough.
