We stayed in room 504 with 2 double beds with a partial beach view from the balcony. Clean room, comfortable bed. Nice towels. Body wash etc was nice. Aircon great. Location perfect. Pool - no complaints. Breakie - we unfortunately did not experience this trip. Not sure if this is normal in Gold Coast are but would have preferred a quilt (prefer a bit of weight) vs just a light sheet. We stayed for 2 nights, 2 adults plus a 11 year old. Would stay again as the price was great for what we got.

I’ll start with the positive; Staff were always extremely courteous, happy, helpful and personable. We booked months ahead for oceanfront view and confirmed this prior to then find in actual fact a lower floor and received a partial view with a high rise placed centre of our balcony looking out. Not the worst of it, daily cleaning was woeful with no vacuuming done ever, messy change of sheets attempts and for some strange reason no blanket ever even after requests to cleaning housekeeping staff direct. Sad to say but even a 3 star rating is being generous. The only highlight is proximity to everything locally otherwise the hotel is extremely tired and run down. Not a happy customer.

Centrally located in Surfers Paradise near lots of restaurants. Room was clean and tidy. The only issue we had was with the parking. A staff member advised us we would only need to pay A$12 per day for our last 3 days parking as we had already stayed at the same hotel a week earlier and paid A$17 per day. However, when we received the charge on our credit card, it was A$17 per day and not the A$12 we had been advised. So this was a bit dishonest, as we were advised a lower price, but charged a higher price. When I queried it once back in NZ, the hotel claimed I had been charged the correct price, but this differs to what the staff member advised me verbally when we were physically at the hotel on the Gold Coast. Accordingly, I recommend other travellers pay for their parking at the hotel and not to trust the hotel to charge them via credit card later as they may do this to you also.

The room was spotless clean everyday. All staffs I met are friendly and helpful. Beautiful swimming pool at the main entrance. Gym also very clean and well looked after. Highly recommended!

Hotel situated close to everything which was good. Hotel rooms a bit out dated. There were no amenities given, house keeping was not consistent. Toilet roll holder not positioned correctly. Pool not big enough to cater for the amount of people staying at hotel, was always overcrowded!!

Room service was poor. Some days, the bed would not be made, but the rest of the room was cleaned. Shampoo and body washes were not refilled for days at a time. Coffees and milk were also not refilled or topped up when we ran out. Overall, the room upkeep was poor and inconsistent. Some days the room would be cleaned properly and other days would miss the room completely.

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to everything. The room was generally comfortable and appeared clean, though it is a little dated. There were some minor housekeeping issues, including sand in the bedsheets, hair in the bathroom, and slight odours on the pillows and blanket, which affected the overall impression.
