Great hotel, awful check in

This was the second time we stayed at the FREIgeist north. It is a beautiful hotel and Appartment complex, breakfast is great, parking underneath the hotel and very beautifully designed (former Sartorius location where I worked for many years). However the check in was awful and a very bad start into our Germany trip. We felt not like paying guests but rather given a chance to stay at the FREIgeist. It was a complex and diminishing, arrogant experience.

Lovely small apartment, divided by halv a wall, between a bedroom and living room with a small but efficient kitchen. Nice beds, even the bed sofa was more than ok. Bathroom was LOVELY!! Lots of soft fluffy towels. My price included a very very nice breakfast buffet, on weekdays they serve it until 10.30 am, and on weekends until 2 pm!! Easy to find the hotel, and excellent garage under it

Perfekt boende att stanna på för vidare resa söderut i Europa. Allt var smidigt, exempelvis stort parkeringsgarage under boendet samt stor lägenhet med stort och fräscht badrum. Bra med plats för två vuxna och två större barn. Bra matlagningsmöjligheter och riktigt bra och god frukost.

Sieht sich selbst als „nachhaltig“ und begründet damit, dass es keine echten Klimaanlagen gibt. Im Sommer deshalb nur bedingt zu empfehlen. An der Rezeption wird gnadenlos geduzt - auch wenn man zurück-siezt und damit höflich darauf aufmerksam machen will, dass man nicht geduzt werden möchte. Rezeption extrem langsam.
