Lovely quant property. A little dated but the upkeep is well done. Breakfast was good however seating is mainly outside no matter the weather.

Staff was friendly, and even let us borrow an umbrella for a rainy day. The room is an old school room, but very nicely done. Bed was firm, and by morning I was moving around a lot. Breakfast was nice, but limited. Views are great! I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at The Vista. The view of Good Harbor from the balcony was stunning. We loved seeing the sunrise and moonrise. The room was spacious and quiet. The bathroom was a little tight but was clean and every detail is considered for guest accommodations. The breakfast was delightful and we enjoyed sitting at tables under the tent and enjoying the fresh air and view.

I appreciate that they provide a beautiful smoking area, however, it's a bit of a walk to get to it , especially when you're alone after dark. Hidden away behind buildings and down grass that was very slippery walk with the morning dew. I didn't appreciate that someone was smoking weed outside their room while I continued to take a walk every time I wanted to smoke a cigarette

The view of the harbour made this motel worthwhile! The breakfast was nice but sparse and for the price we paid, I was expecting more. Nonetheless, I would stay here again because the location was great, the staff was friendly and it was clean and reasonably comfortable.

Great classic beach hotel.

Great spot for a extended weekend. We came to gloucester for a wedding and the vista was perfect. Amazing views, friendly staff, even bags for ice for the beach cooler!

We had a very comfortable stay at The Vista. The rooms were very clean and well laid out. The food in the restaurant was top notch The free breakfast is exceptional. The sunset was gorgeous over the bay.

Needs updates

I'm have been a flight attendant for 46 years and needless to say I have stayed in thousands of hotel. I will give an honest review of the property. At check in the receptionist was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and professional. Upon entering the room I was a little disappointed at the size of the room, especially the bathroom. In my opinion it could have been much better designed as far as the layout. The view from my room #2 was partially obscured by two large trees on the property below the hotel. The shower in the bathroom was so small that I would imagine a person of size would have a difficult time. The breakfast was very minimal. I actually didn't return for the breakfast the second morning because it only consisted of Costco croissants and activa yogurt and fruit. (Banana or apple was offered). The overall property is exceptionally maintained. There are 2 major grocery stores very close by which was great. For me once was enough at this hotel. If I ever return to Gloucester I will look elsewhere.

Nice visit

Nice size room, very clean, nice view. Little touches like beach towels, glass coffee cups and umbrellas. Accessible to everything and the private beach is a short walk away. The owners are so friendly and helpful.

Our room was very clean and had an exceptional view of the ocean. The property was well manicured and it was very pleasant just to sit out as well as eat and look at the ocean. It included a good breakfast and the staff was very friendly.
