What Ive come to expect from a Premier Inn: clean, comfortable rooms and a nice restaurant especially the breakfast buffet. Convenient to Queen Street Station and the Buchanan bus station.

Perfect structure, cleaning, breakfast, location and staff
Good location with clean modern rooms. We had a premier room which provided good space. Staff were friendly and restaurant was good with reasonavle prices.
The room was very good and centrally located. Beds were comfy and room was clean. My only problem was the restaurant could not do take away so I could bring breakfast on the train.

The room was clean, and linens soft. Excellent staff. Repairs are needed on bathroom fixtures, and walls had nicks in the paint.
The location was incredibly convenient, and the staff was out of this world. They were so incredibly welcoming, helpful, truly went above and beyond for anything that I asked or needed. The room was a little dated, but functional and comfortable.
Short version: Don't book here. It stinks, literally.
Long versions:
Rooms smelled moldy. I asked for a new room and the staff at reception told me the other rooms smell the same. There wasn't any visible mold but the smell was STRONG. Staying in the room multiple nights definitely made us feel a little under the weather. (We looked at other hotels nearby and they were all booked so we were out of options, would've left otherwise)
Food wasn't great either, definitely overpriced for what it was.
The redeeming factor is the location. Very close to Queen St. Station and to a lot of attractions.
Overall verdict. DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION UNLESS YOU LIKE THE SMELL OF MOLD.

This hotel was not flexible with accommodating early check in. Our room was unavailable for early check in because it was a limited space. We emailed the facility before travelling to check if early check in was available to which we were told to ask on property. When on property, we were told our room was limited and we could not switch because it was fully booked. We wish this was told over email - as we were willing to pay for early check in. Other guests were given the option for early check in but they were forced to pay, even if only 1 hour early.
You have to ask for your room to be cleaned. We asked for it to be cleaned but it was only cleaned for one of our nights.
One positive thing I would like to highlight is a staff member who made our stay better. Sonia was a life saver - When I explained that room service forgot to clean our room 2 days in a row, she quickly said she would rectify the problem and made sure we had water and coffee refilled.

The sink in the bathroom did not work so the water did acumulate
Clean room in big hotel. In-hotel restaurant appreciated. In the UK bed cover is a synthetic doona (comforter) in a cover with no top sheet. There is no way to regulate sleeping temperature, no alternative cover such as blankets. I find the doona far too hot, I can't sleep under it. My only option is remove the doona and sleep under just the cover.
Check in terrible! The automated booths are hopeless, would not accept my details, apparently because I don't have a UK postcode, Then would not accept my booking number. Fortunately the staff were helpful.
Beware, it may be a budget price, but don't expect cleanliness. The sink in our bathroom did not drain and there were signs of construction (fine white drywall powder) in a corner of the room where some work was being done. In addition there was a loose plastic board just sitting on a shelf that could have fallen and caused safety hazard. We requested to switch rooms but apparently no other rooms available. Otherwise, amenities like food/drinks seemed fine, but don't have high expectations here.
