Strange promo. When I checked in I was given a voucher for 20% off “food and beverages”. The only exclusion on its use was “not valid for breakfast”. The voucher was refused at the bar because it can’t be used for alcohol. That is nonsense for 2 reasons; 1. An alcoholic drink is obviously a beverage, 2. Nothing on the voucher implied it could not be used for alcohol. The duty manager gave a made-up, gobbledygook excuse about Scottish licensing laws. He was misinformed on the law regarding alcohol sales.

Had a few days in Glasgow for a break. Have stayed in the Maldron a few times now, never disappoints. Had a king room on the 11th floor, spotless and comfortable. You wouldn't have known you were in the centre of Glasgow, so quiet, had a great nights sleep both nights. Breakfast was great, all you could wish for yo start your day. Highly recommend the Maldron.
