Less than 10 minute walk to tram stop to get into Ghent city centre (although approx 20/30 minute tram ride to centre so does take time to get to centre for sight seeing) easy to reach location from motorway

Nice clean property on the outside of Ghent. Parking is easy but expensive (20 euro). They do have lots of electrical charging points for cars so that’s for sure a comfort. Breakfast too expensive but that’s not a surprise.

The rooms very clean. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good rest. We stayed for 2 nights and the services were good. The last at the reception received us even though we were late to check in. She helped with all the details we needed as soon as possible. Parking is expensive. But better to park in the premises than on road. Parking is€20 for 24 hours on first come first basis. Overall a good experience and we will choose Courtyard Marroitt again if we get a chance.

No bath despite the room being described as “perfect for families”. Obviously never tried to shower two babies.
