We loved this hotel. Perfect location, charming hotel, excellent staff and wonderful breakfast. The bar is exceptional with an extensive and elegant cocktail list. This is a 5 star hotel for sure!

The Post and Porter's House is in a great location and is within walking distance of two tram stops. The staff was very friendly and helpful whenever we had a question. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. We would definitely return to this hotel if we are in the area again.

Unique interior design, beautifully done. Very friendly and helpful staff. Late check out and my husband stayed in the (not open) bar lounge for the afternoon whilst I did some sightseeing, as he wasnt feeling great. Fantastic breakfast. We had a large room with an upstairs mezzanine bathroom (beware if you have mobility problems). Despite being in a busy location our room was very quiet. Pricey but truly a wonderful place for a weekend break.

The locals call this place The Palace and it is an exquisite hotel. Staff greeted us with prosecco and Belgian chocolates. Nice touch! Staff always smiling and extremely friendly. Highly recommend.

Our room was lovely if not a little noisy from the public outside as our room was located at the front. The noisy however did strip around midnight. The amenities at the hotel were great and the staff were very helpful, attentive and always smiling. It was our anniversary and they organised a balloon, bottle of sparkling wine and a Belgium waffle in our room on arrival. The honestly bar was a relaxing space. We would definitely visit again

If you are staying at this place is probably the best place to stay. Little walk is required from train to bus etc. We took uber back to main train station on the way back, however while you are there, Hotel is located in the center of the Ghent. Easy walk to Gravensteen and other cathedral from there. Hotel itself is like museum with beautiful interior/exterior. We stayed in Letter room, which located in the upper floor. Window facing canal, but can't really see much do to the structure in front of the window, Other rooms might give you a better view.
