"There was a really bad wind storm one of the days and nights we stayed there with winds up to 80-100 mph. It was also snowing. At some point many businesses in Evergreen lost power due to the intensity of the wind. This hotel handled the power outage well, and my husband and I felt very safe there. Besides being a safe place, the hot tub, sauna, and pool were great amenities to use before the wind storm hit. The staff are all friendly and welcoming! "

"The House is beautiful, stock with everything and more that you or your family would need. The set up of the house is prefect the rooms are huge and decorated to make you feel at home. Location is perfect between the wonderful town of Evergreen and Kittridge, so much to do Hiking trails everywhere you look, Bear Creek trout, right out in front of the house, enough said. if you travel in like staying in beautiful places this is a Must. "We were two families (4 adults, 4 kids and infant) and had the greatest time over spring break. The house is conveniently located off of I70 so easy access to Denver or the ski resorts in the mountains. Location: you are on a paved road, then you’re off-roading on a dirt road. Try to get there during daylight so you can find the place easily. You need 4WD if it rains a lot or snows. We were snowed in with the biggest snowstorm of the season but we were all happily warm and enjoying the house for 2.5 days. We risked it with 2WD and snow chains and barely made it out. The snow blower in the garage was a major plus! Stop by grocery store before you go because it’s a good 10-15 min drive away. House: literally everything you need and more. Well stocked with kitchen appliances(coffee maker, crockpot, blender, mixer, toaster oven, toaster, fridge freezer with ice maker), dishes/cups, pots/pans, utensils, measuring cups and spoons, and pantry was also well stocked! Beds are so comfortable, nice bed and bath linens, even had shampoo/conditioner/body wash in each bathroom. Humidifiers in each closet…. It was dry when we were there and that helped a ton. HE washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets. Huge hot tub. Games/Activities: arcade, ping pong, pool table, closet full of games and movies, sleds in garage, excellent collection of books for the kids. The hosts have great taste (quality), were friendly and available."
