Room wasn’t ready for 2 hours after promised check-in. Was sent to a table to get my parking pass, was asked to join a property review for time share. I declined explaining we were heading into the national park, I was told they were now closed. I challenge that but was told there was a change where the Governor hadn’t extended it and all the park sites were closed. This was Friday, found out from other travels on Sunday the parks never closed. We lost a whole day we could have enjoyed, that’s wrong.

The room I originally booked was not ready on time. Instead of waiting, I had to accept a room that was deteriorated with a brick for a mattress. The room was so old that even clean, looked dirty. The staff was nice, but the room was unacceptable for the price.

Very convenient location if you want to experience Gatlinburg without your car. Can be quite noisy and you will hear your neighbors as well. Comfortable bed and clean. Bears frequent the creek and grounds.

Gatlinburg

This is an older hotel, but in good condition. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly. It's right next to the aquarium and very walkable to the downtown area. Breakfast items are limited.

Not what was expected!

The room was dated? But clean. My biggest complaint is that our room wasn’t ready when we checked in at 4pm. We had to wait an additional hour after being on the road for almost 7 hours. They said they were short staffed and would text us when the room was ready, but we never received any texts. We had to physically go back to the receptionist to ask if our room was ready. We also extended a day and apparently that info wasn’t communicated efficiently because on Sunday we were interrupted multiple times by housekeeping. With one housekeeper entering our room while we were still inside. Talk about unacceptable. We also booked a river front and did not get that: our view was primarily of a parking lot.

The front desk could not communicate with her cleaning staff to inspect my mother‘s room and she had to wait outside for 2 1/2 hours. Then their key card system went down and they could not provide keys to anybody throughout the rest of the evening until the next morning. The breakfast is a grab and go very basic with limited items.Dated rooms

Stop was helpful, the room was fine The balcony gave a beautiful overview but it's right on the nightlife so it's rocking and rolling until late at night but the view is beautiful in the area is safe and clean.

The hotel was very outdated, I felt like the photos online made it look nicer than it was and it could use a refresh. Our bathroom fan did not work and the only mirror in the entire room was the bathroom mirror. It would have been nice to have a full size mirror or a second portable one to be used in the room. There was an odd amount of garbage around the parking lot area. The thing that really saves this hotel is the location; walkability was huge for my group and we were close to everything. If I could find a nicer hotel in a similar price range I would stay elsewhere.

Room is quite dated. Huge jacuzzi tub right beside the bed. Not sure who needs that. Had trouble getting hot water for shower. I had about 2 min before it went cold. It's in a great location but the room conditions would keep me from returning.

The overall experience was fine, but.... This place is not aging well. The bathrooms needed a serious remodel, like 10 years ago. Hot water in the sink was scalding, but the shower was good for maybe 3 minutes of lukewarm water and then nothing, coldest shower ever. The staff was helpful. our room was missing a remote, and they got us one super fast. No cleaning service until you check out, but they will bring you whatever you need.

We stayed here for the location. Great walking distance for everything. However, the sink and tub were disgusting, bed was very hard. The maintenance man literary had to break down our door for us to get into our room. It no longer locked, the front desk staff called hotels aroumd and no available rooms. This was at 9pm. We had to drive home 8 hours. And we paid $250 for 1 night. This was a very bad experience and i wont stay there again!!
