Nice bed. The building could use a hose down. The room could definitely use a broom and mop on the floor more often. Clean the walls as well. Staff was amazing. AC was hard to regulate but I think that was just the room. Overall if you aren’t looking for luxury then it’s a good place by The Island to stay and it’s close to everything.

Bed was nice. Definitely could use a cleaning outside and the rooms could use a sprucing up as well making sure the floors are clean and walls are clean. It’s a nice place to stay for a few days. Don’t expect a lot. It is close to The Island. That’s a plus. Walking distance to most things on the strip. Staff were great.

Stay Away!

Upon arrival at Mountain Vista Inn in Pigeon Forge, we were immediately appalled by the condition of the property. The parking lot and surrounding area were covered in trash, cigarette butts, and spilled liquids dripping from above onto parked cars. It looked completely neglected and dirty. When I went inside to check in, the front desk clerk rudely told me our room was not available even though we had arrived well after the posted check-in time. We accepted this and left to return later, but when we finally checked in, the experience was worse. The lobby was filthy, smelled terrible, and was cluttered with random items. The check-in process took far too long, and the staff was unfriendly and dismissive. When we entered our room, we were horrified. There were cockroaches crawling around, blood stains on the walls and sheets, and cigarette burns across nearly every surface. The room reeked of smoke and mildew, and it was immediately clear this was not a safe or clean place to stay. I went back to the front desk to express concern and requested a different room. I was told there were no other options, but housekeeping would take care of the issues. We left for several hours, hoping the problems would be resolved, but when we returned, nothing had been cleaned or replaced. We returned the keys, told the staff we would not be staying, and left. This hotel is filthy, unsafe, and should be avoided by anyone who values cleanliness or comfort.

I don't do reviews, but this needs one. Not giving this a good rating because the pictures online make it look like it's well kept and clean. Far from it. The only good thing about our room was that there was two king beds. The first room walking in was missing a lamp on the wall next to the bed and had a hole where the lamp should be. The floor didn't look like it had been swept very well. This room is the only area that had the a/c unit and the air didn't reach the back bedroom even with doors open to both rooms.The bathroom area in the middle section of the room had the sink on one side and toilet/shower on the other. The sink had the towel holder missing but one of the arms was still attached to the wall with the other piece laying in the sink cabinet. There was also a baby bottle cap in the floor under the sink that had not been swept under and could see it from sitting on the bed. The toilet/shower room is so small you have to step in to the shower to be able to shut the door. There was a hole in the wall where the door knob put a hole through it that had been properly patched before. The back bedroom gets no air from thr a/c u it but has a ceiling fan, but even with that on high, was still hot and stuffy. The walls were unevenly painted and some spots looked like two different colors and dirty with something that had spilt splashed on the wall in one corner. There was not a plug in for one side of the bed and no side table, had to use extension cord to plug things up.

Everything on this stay went well. The room was comfortable and clean though the condition of the room could have been better. There was at least one light in bathroom/sink area that didn’t work and you could tell there were things that had been broken off the wall. One thing that sort of bothered me yesterday was that I asked for a few more towels and the staff member that brought the towels acted angry that I had asked for them after the housekeeper had already been through for the day. I have never had this issue at any other hotel ever. I stay in hotels frequently while traveling for work. Aside from that issue the rest of the staff was great and friendly.

Noisy part of town. Very limited parking. Building was very aged and lacked upkeep and updates. Rooms were bright and noisy, with sounds of water flushing overhead, people talking all around, traffic and sirens. It was the only thing available for a quick overnight stop, very expensive, and we won’t be back.

The room was clean and comfortable. This property is within walking distance to the Pirates Voyage dinner show, the Island entertainment, and several other dining and shopping experiences. I would definitely stay here again.

Woke up one morning to a grown man standing in my room while i was sleeping, yelling at me for my towels so he could switch them out. very unprofessional, very uncomfortable, and down right disrespectful. front desk worker said it was acceptable and i HAD to have my dnd tag on the door if i didn’t want them to ENTER my room with no permission

It was a nice motel and close to everything so you could walk. Walked to the island in like 3 minutes. It was clean, friendly and comfortable. Definitely will be staying again. Pool was not as clean as I would of liked it to be it was cloudy, but the rest was nice
