The staff at Brookside Lodge are always friendly and helpful!!! We have stayed here several times because we feel right at home. We love the fireplace, the balcony that looks at the water, and the peaceful atmosphere.

Wonderful staff, Jessica and BeShawn were excellent and so courteous. An 8 minute walk to down town. Would definitely stay again. Beautiful creek in the back to sit and enjoy natures sounds. Nice large room with taller ceilings than most. Fireplaces to enjoy the ambiance.

Overall, we had a very nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was pleasant and accommodating—Maegan and Leanne were especially great. The location was very convenient, just a short 10-minute walk to downtown Gatlinburg, with trolley pickup available right at the motel. A few minor updates could improve the experience. The pictures are more updated than the rooms. While the room was clean, the corners could have used a bit more vacuuming. Breakfast was the same each morning, but it was decent, always hot, and well stocked.

I truly enjoy myself on our vacation during New Year's week. We had a clean room and I especially liked having a fireplace in my room since it was so cold. The staff was amazing no problems very welcoming. I'll definitely be back to stay in the future. Also trolley is right in front of the hotel or it's only a 10 min. walk to main stop.

Ladies at the front desk were friendly. Blankets on the bed were not clean. They had an odor. The faucet in the tub leaked water the whole time. The room definitely was not clean. The room had a fireplace but there was no where to get firewood nearby.

Staff was amazing upon arrival. Place was clean and well kept. Breakfast was okay, standard continental. Same every day. Pancake machine was way cool. Good coffee..could use some creamer options. Sound of the creek was amazing, lots of wildlife to been seen and heard. Free trolley for guests which was super helpful. We had a great time and I would highly recommend.

When I reserved a the high class room was told at the front desk it was not available, that Expedia book the wrong room for me, was given a room that was less then I had paid & reserved, the room that was given found 3 bugs, front door had a crack that the cold air came trough, was told that the room was to be cleaned daily & towels changed Never was done while we was there very bad experience would never nor recommend this place not for the money I paid & not get the room I wanted

Staff always friendly...had problems with the TV...was not working properly... volume kept going out...couldn't change the channel for 3 day's...only was there for 4 days...housekeeping was on point with our towels..but did not vacuum our floor..an it needed it..this was my third year staying here during Christmas holiday..but i think im going to try another lodge next year...

Another great stay at Brookside for us! Was very pleased to see eggs and sausage added to breakfast in the morning. We had more than enough to get us started for the day. Stayed in the honeymoon suite again and we love the fireplace, balcony and big soaking tub. It is spacious and clean and gives us a cabin feeling without the high price or or inconvenient location. Staff has always been friendly. We had everything we needed to have a relaxing getaway, but I have no doubt that that they would have taken care of any needs we could have had. The only let down was that we didn't get to see a bear this time. We will try again when we return in a month or so!😀

Stayed many many times, really loved these rooms so spacious.. when we checked in I was informed there is now a $5 per night for parking when I asked when did start. The clerk said about a month ago 😞 I asked why and she said so they could Black drop and reline parking spaces.when we first started coming to brookside all 4 floors had ice machine then the first and third flór. This stay no ice machine worked at all when I asked they me they were all cut off but there was a machine in the pool house. So we will be finding a new hotel to stay.
