Room was large. Staff was nice. No wall decor and old brackets hanging everywhere in room. Beds and bathroom adequate. Very close to strip which was so nice. Breakfast was good. Front entry needs update.

Convenient location to down town Gatlinburg, google maps tried to send us in via neighbours paid car park though, luckily i clicked that wouldn't of been right, so i pulled over on a side street and rechecked. Place seemed alright at the start, but we didn't feel well after a couple of nights stay, the room had a funny smell in it unfortunately.

Room was clean, there was a big crack in the bathroom sink, but it didnt affect anything. Beds were relatively comfortable, I enjoyed the balcony connected to the room, which I used in the morning to watch for bears and enjoy the fresh air. Parking was convenient and much appreciated since parking for the strip was $20/daily. The location of the hotel the national park was the main reason for staying there. Breakfast came with the stay, but unfortunately was a bit outside of my normal eating habits. Staff was incredibly friendly and always available.

Only stay in this hotel if you are in the market for a night of possible murder and a whole lot of dirtiness. There was a stain on the bed unsure of its orgin but probably blood. Staff was nice. There was a gun shot in the hotel unsure what occurred. We did not make it through the night at this location and had to leave to find another hotel.

I was mostly happy with our two nights spent here, but there is room for improvement. Every staff member I ran into was super friendly. The room was very quiet except for an unruly guest coming back around bar-time, and I don't consider that the fault of the facility. A bear meandering through a parking lot in back was a unique experience. The breakfast selection was exceptional and it tasted great, however, it was only warm (not hot) on day one, and actually cold on day two. The warming trays did not have any lit flames or heating elements on. The dining area for breakfast was LOUD. They have tile floors which look great, and I can appreciate their durability, but every time someone moved one of the wooden chairs it sounded like a bullhorn being blasted. Some leg-protectors on the chairs, at least, would probably help. There were also no window coverings or wall hangings of any kind, so the acoustics were horrible. Back in the room, I did notice some mold in the shower and the carpet was obviously dirty. After walking barefoot on the carpet for just a few minutes, I stepped into the shower and black water appeared at my feet. The room also had just a little bit of a funky smell to it, which I assume was from the carpet as well.

The location was excellent.first night there we saw 2 bears in the parking lot and 4 raccoons came onto the balcony. The breakfast was really good with great options.
