The Cabin
Smoky Mountain Vista is a 2-bedroom log cabin built for families and small groups who want a private hot tub, a game loft, and wooded views in one place. The open main level centers on a propane fireplace beneath a 70" Roku TV, with a fully equipped kitchen and dining table steps away. Upstairs, the loft holds a full-size pool table, and the back deck holds the hot tub and a teepee tent for reading, meditating, or listening to the forest.

We had a very good stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and had all the key facilities for a pleasant experience. It would be even better if some basic essentials like salt and sugar were provided for convenience. Overall, great experience and would recommend!

Perfect place for littles to enjoy the swing pool and hot tub close to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Justin answered all my crazy questions. He was great we will definitely book again

Dishwasher wasnt working. But, the property manager did let me know about it beforehand. The restroom upstairs has no water pressure at all. Not even enough to flush the toilet. Had to flush it several times just to get it to flush at all. Couldnt take a shower upstairs either bc of having no pressure. Other than that, all was great.

We stayed here for a 3-night family trip and overall the cabin itself was fine, but future guests should know our experience with the advertised hot tub.Approximately one hour before check-in, we were informed the hot tub was not working. We were told it would likely be fixed that day or the following day, and throughout the stay we continued receiving updates suggesting a technician would be coming. About 24 hours before checkout, we even approved access for a repair visit, only to later be told no one would be coming after all. The hot tub ended up being unavailable for our entire stay.The hot tub was a major factor in why we booked this cabin, and had we known beforehand that it would not be available at all, we likely would have chosen another property. Because we were repeatedly told it would be fixed, we did not pursue alternate accommodations early in the trip.The host was polite and responded to messages, which I appreciate. However, the compensation offered did not feel proportional to losing a primary advertised amenity for the duration of the stay.This was our first family vacation in several years, so it was disappointing. I’m leaving this review so future guests can make an informed decision and set expectations appropriately.
