I booked my room through Hotels.com for $175, specifically because it was supposed to have a partial lake view. However, when I arrived, the receptionist informed me that no rooms with a partial lake view were available. She instead gave me a standard room without any lake view, but still charged me the same price. I paid extra to enjoy the view, but the hotel didn’t deliver what was promised. This really affected my stay, and overall, I had a terrible experience with this hotel.

The grounds are lovely and a nice view. The room was great and the bed was very comfortable. We were in easy walking distance to a grocery store, restaurant and Jacques Cartier landmark. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and it would have been nice to have a restaurant or cafe on site.

Beautiful setting located above the bay. Their outdoor terrace overlooking the bay is a great place to end the day (weather permitting). Nicely located to many nearby attractions (Gaspesie Museum, Forillon National Park, …). Note, a car is still required to get to most attractions. The biggest downside was many nearby restaurants and some attractions were closed after Labour Day. Hotel parking sometimes felt inadequate. Overall however, the pluses far outweigh the minor issues.
