Sandy Turtle offers spectacular bay & sunset views while providing quick access to the Bayside lazy river pool. Choose to relax by the pool, float down the lazy river or catch the latest game on tv on your private balcony; you will never miss the views. Take a morning walk on the walking paths & see numerous varieties of birds. The bayside location is perfect for those that love amazing sunsets, serenity and to fish, bring your pole and waders! Have fun in the evening with maybe a s'mores outing by the fire pit. The Beach Club & Beach is also yours to enjoy, both are less than a 2-minute drive across the road in your car, with onsite parking available. Rent a golf cart and utilize the "underground" tunnel and pathways to this area.

This condo offers: King size bed in the master, 1 queen in second bedroom & a full size bed & full over full bunks in the 3rd guest bedroom (Pack N Play). Sleeps 9 comfortably. Equipped with 3 High Def LED TV's (one on the balcony) and WIFI.

Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. You will have exclusive access to our private beach that is clean and groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax and unwind, away from the crowds. You are approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston and other great Galveston attractions.

Pointe West Beach Club Access (Optional)
The Pointe West Beach Club is a privately owned facility offering resort-style amenities for guests who choose to purchase access. The resort fee is $25 per person (ages 4+) per stay, with a limit of three amenity bands per bedroom.

Amenities include:
* Beach Club pool and seasonally heated Bayside pool with lazy river
* Hot tubs
* Basketball and pickleball courts
* Modest game/exercise room

Access process:
* The Beach Club will send an invoice directly to you.
* After payment, wristbands can be picked up at the Beach Club Office (open daily, 9 AM–5 PM).
* The resort fee is nonrefundable; purchasing closer to your arrival is recommended.

Important information:
We manage the rental home only and do not oversee the Beach Club, its amenities, restaurant, pools, beach access, or elevators. Refunds or cancellations are not provided for closures or operational issues.

* Check in: 4 PM
* Check out: 10 AM
* Guests may enjoy the beach and Beach Club amenities before check-in and after check-out with wristband purchase.
* Condos are accessible by stairs and have one elevator per building.  If the elevator experiences an outage, you will be required to take the stairs.  Elevators should not be relied upon for guests with disabilities or other limitations. 
* Minimum age requirement: 26+
* No prom, graduation, or high school groups, even with chaperones.

CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICY:
* 31+ Days Before Arrival — You may change your dates (but the price might change), or you may cancel for a full refund minus a $100 fee and any travel‑insurance premium you bought.
* 30 Days or Less — No refunds and no date changes, no matter the reason — including weather or unexpected events.

Travel Insurance — Offered at booking. Helps protect you from losses due to unexpected events. Important because hurricane season is June–November.

Another awesome year at Pointe West!

The condo was great! It was clean and well stocked. The only thing I wished I had brought my electric skillet just because I haven’t used a griddle on the electric stove before.

Location is great. Condo itself was good, but this stay and the last 2 stays at the building next to this one, the elevators were not working for the entire stays. I don’t blame the condo owners, but the Pointe West HOA. If you plan to stay at Pointe west, book a condo on the first level or be in good physical condition

Beautiful spot

Condo was exactly as pictured, we enjoyed a couple of Galveston's beautiful sunsets on the deck. It worked great for our family. The main bedroom bed took some getting used to. It is a memory foam matress and very different from what I was used to. We really enjoyed our time and will look to rebook again in the future,

Well-maintained pointe west property

Very impressed with the condo, views of the pool and bay and cleanliness of the condo community. Would definitely stay here again. The only thing I will mention is, the bay pool did not feel 'heated' as described on the listing. It was still pretty cold. Regardless, we had a great time and I appreciated that there were security guards actively checking that guests had wristbands to utilize the pool areas.

Our stay was wonderful! It’s off the beaten path and so quiet and peaceful. . Furnishings were cozy and inviting. The home had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub area were lovely. Owners were quick to communicate. Highly recommend.

One of our new faves

Bay side…overlooking the lazy river and the bay. TV outside on the balcony ….which the teens loved. First floor over the garage…so easy to load/unload bags and groceries. Clean…very. All appliances and plumbing working as expected. Ran out of paper towels…but an easy trip to the store fixed that. Trash shoot right outside the front door. Could use more kitchen towels… but absolutely no real complaints whatsoever…easily one of our top 3 rentals and we rent condos and houses in Galveston at least 3-4 times/year.

Great getaway

We enjoyed our stayed and the condo/property were very clean! Our only issue was the sleep number king bed in master bedroom. The mattress would reset itself during the night waking us up so we finally just slept in the bunk bed room. Might be a super easy fix but we couldn’t figure out what was up with it. The balcony is large with nice views of bay/lazy river pool. We would stay here again for sure!

The property was great. It was clean and comfortable for our family. We enjoyed the pools and the easy access to the beach. We rented a golf cart which was great to get around. We would definitely return!

Peace & Tranquility

This condo was beautiful & fully equipped with everything! The beds were comfortable & we enjoyed alot of time on the patio so the TV out there was a plus! The on-site restaurant was surprisingly good & had kid friendly foods. The pool closest to condo was a bit dirty but the one by where you get the wrist bands was alot better. We definitely will be back!
