The room definitely didn't look like the picture. It was very sparse, no pictures, no bedside tables but the worst problem was the smell. There was an overwhelming smell of bleach that hit you in the face before you even crossed the threshold. The longer you were in the room, you realized it was probably their attempt to cover the underlying weird yeasty smell that permeated the room. The pillows were so flat they were basically non existent. I expected more from Motel 6

The girl at the front desk was very accommodating. She told us we were too early for check-in, but we could go hang out by the pool until the first room was clean. The attendant let us know right away when our room was available. The room was average: just two beds, one was right up against the wall with the AC unit. AC kept us cool enough, but it still stayed very humid in the room. Bathroom was everything we needed, but no amenities whatsoever. Basically, the price was right for what we got. Just needed a place to sleep and shower for one night before our cruise. We probably would not choose this location again. I thought it was closer to shops, restaurants, or the cruise port. But it wasn't.
