A nice looking hotel well located in the centre of town. Pool area lovely. Breakfast was exceptional. Large, though dark room - Geography. Great aircon in the room. Its not a low cost hotel so arriving to a broken toilet seat (fixed next day) a faulty door lock (security) and no wall mounted toilet roll holder for the previously used toilet rolls (hygiene) are not acceptable. No where comfortable to sit in the room. Mattress and linen ok. Overall, only ok value. Clearly aspiring for a quality product but some misses.

It is a wonderful hotel, with fantastic staff, clean and in a perfect location. Gayan helped us on our arrival and breakfast time, he was so kind and made us feel really welcome. Also, breakfast is absolutely super delicious with lots of Sri Lankan fruits and options and lovely coffee.

The staff are great! However, the hotel is lacking in some basics, especially considering the high price they charge. For example: no coffee in the room (although advertised), stains on sofa, no kleenex, no holder for toilet paper. Lighting in my room was wholly inadequate, I had to use my cell phone's flashlight to read something on the desk - this was during the day!
