Wonderfully comfortable, clean, and well equipped. I slept better here than I have in just about any other accommodations. Evening/morning street noise dropped to pretty much nothing at night, and we loved being able to walk downtown. The very clean and well-equipped shared kitchen was a bonus we hadn't expected.

The staff were very wonderful and accommodating to my needs. The room we stayed was very clean. Loved the fireplace and the bathroom was very spacious with a bench. The owner was kind enough to let us park next to the hotel instead of across the street because of my disability.

It’s an older place but it’s been remodeled, and is in good shape. We got a room that had a nice hot tub in it. The area was quiet, everything was clean. No complaints. We’d stay there again, if we were in the area.

You can't beat this location if you want to wander around Galena and the riverfront! Everything felt clean, safe and we had everything we needed, if in a bit of strange and old-world set up! This is an old building with lots of "charm", but as long as you are prepared for that you'll have a lovely stay.
