This little gem was the perfect combination of modern and cozy; plus, it was super clean! As part of a row of four connected duplex-style houses, it was amazingly quiet and secluded feeling. Nestled between tree covered rolling hills, the views from the house were a meadow edged by forest that added to the relaxing atmosphere of seclusion even though it was connected to other housing units. The amenities were wonderful, providing everything we wanted and needed for a functional kitchen and home. The owner provided plenty of logs for the fireplace which was easy to use and immensely added to our enjoyment. This is a GREAT place to stay whether you want to enjoy strolling and shopping through the streets of the town of charming Galena or you simply want a place to relax, play games, and watch movies while sipping wine and sampling cheese. The owner was readily available, quickly answering all of our questions in response to our needs. I would DEFINITELY stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone!

Birthday getaway

The property was nice and the town home was the perfect size for my husband and I. It was outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Galena. We didn’t partake in the amenities offered such as the pool or the rec center but did enjoy the patio. The neighbor had bird feeders and had tons of birds so it was nice just to sit outside enjoy the quiet and birdwatch. The townhome had everything that we needed for our home away from home! Would definitely stay here again!

Girls trip to Galena
